In honor of the opening of the exhibition "The Painted Word: Calligraphy in the Chu-Griffis Art Collection," Qianshen Bai, an associate professor of art history at Boston University, will give a lecture and demonstration of Chinese calligraphy at 4 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the Charles Chu Asian Art Reading Room in the Shain Library at Connecticut College.
